6.6.8 Conventional blending component. Blending streams derived from the following
conventional sources: crude oil, petroleum, oil sands, oil shale, or mixtures thereof.
6.6.9 Finished fuel. Final blend of a complex mixture of hydrocarbons, with additives,
provided for specification acceptance.

6.9 International standardization agreement implementation. This specification implements
NATO STANAG 1135, and NATO STANAG 3747. When amendment, revision, or cancellation
of this specification is proposed, the preparing activity must coordinate the action with the U.S.
National Point of Contact for the international standardization agreement, as identified in the
ASSIST database at https://assist.dla.mil.
6.10 Changes from previous issue. Marginal notations are not used in this revision to
identify changes with respect to the previous issue due to the extent of the changes.
